Director of Services
I/DD & TBI Programs
Full-Time | Exempt | Roxboro, NC
This is the person who helps keep the whole service side of PCGH moving.
PCGH is seeking an experienced human services leader to oversee residential and day services for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries.
The Director of Services works closely with the Executive Director, Clinical Director, nursing, Human Resources and program leadership to keep services staffed, compliant, well-managed and responsive to the people we support.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will supervise program leaders, help solve operational problems, review service quality and documentation, prepare for surveys, respond to significant incidents and family concerns, and help shape how PCGH services grow over time.
A few of the things you'll own
- Supervision and support of Program Coordinators, Program Directors and Residential Coordinators
- Oversight of service delivery, staffing, documentation and regulatory compliance
- Survey readiness, accreditation requirements and follow-up on identified concerns
- Coordination around incidents, admissions, discharges, family concerns and significant program changes
- Collaboration with HR on training, onboarding, employee performance and disciplinary matters
- Development and improvement of programs and services based on organizational and client needs
The Director of Services also serves as PCGH's Privacy Officer
, providing leadership around confidentiality, HIPAA practices and response to privacy-related concerns.
The background we're looking for
We are looking for someone with substantial experience in human services, disability services, residential services, healthcare or a closely related field. Experience working with adults with I/DD and/or TBI is strongly preferred.
Qualification as a QIDP, or the ability to meet federal QIDP qualification standards, is strongly preferred. Candidates should have experience leading staff, interpreting regulatory requirements, managing competing priorities and communicating effectively with employees, families, guardians and other professionals.
This job needs someone who can see both the program and the person. You should be able to look at staffing, documentation, compliance and operations without losing sight of the individual receiving the service. You also need to be comfortable making decisions, following through and stepping into problems instead of waiting for them to work themselves out.
Schedule
This is a full-time exempt leadership position. Most work occurs during regular weekday business hours, although PCGH operates around the clock and occasional availability outside normal business hours is part of the responsibility.
PCGH offers
- Salary based on experience and qualifications
- Health, dental and vision insurance
- Paid time off (PTO)
- 403(b) retirement savings plan
- Paid training and professional development opportunities
- Referral Programs, Employee Discounts and more!
PCGH, Inc. has served adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries since 1975 through residential, day and community-based services.
If you know how to lead people, keep programs moving and maintain high standards without losing sight of the people those programs exist to serve, we'd like to hear from you.
