Sewing Operator

- Read and understand production tickets and interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
- Sew flat in upholstery.
- Double needle sew, top stitch, and serge cushion, flat, slipcover, borders, and zippers.
- Ensure sewing is straight and aligned with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper-end upholstered furniture.
- Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
- Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
- This is an onsite and in-office role.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Good communication skills—oral and written.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
