• Read and understand production tickets and interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
• Sew flat in upholstery.
• Double needle sew, top stitch, and serge cushion, flat, slipcover, borders, and zippers.
• Ensure sewing is straight and aligned with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in fabric sewing for upper-end upholstered furniture.
• Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
• Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.
• This is an onsite and in-office role.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good communication skills—oral and written.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.

• Ability to lift, pull, and manipulate heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
