We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to operate out of our Granite Falls facility. The Maintenance Technician maintains and troubleshoots equipment and machinery to minimize downtime. This role will require shift work – Nights 12 Hr.

Granite Falls, NC

• Responsible for equipment safety.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve all equipment aspects of plant machinery.
• Assembly, disassembly, converting, and upgrading equipment as required.
• Document all maintenance activities and champions preventative maintenance programs.
• Take proactive measures to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or credentialed equivalent in English & Mathematics
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in a Maintenance role.
• Must have Mechanical experience. Electrical preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Must have troubleshooting and problem resolution experience.
• Ability to complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and blueprint drawings.
• Working Conditions:
  
  Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds and endure elevated temperature levels.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a focus on quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions including basic mathematical skills.
• Shift Availability:
  Overnight Shift 7p-7a
• Overtime requirements:
  Overtime as needed daily or weekends based upon business needs.
• Attendance:
  Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.

On-site orientation and training will be provided.
