Maintenance Engineer
The Maintenance Engineer reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for supporting production equipment within the plant.
Responsibilities- Providing safe and timely preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing plant type of environment
- Understands and follows safety policies and procedures. Additionally, identifies safety risks and works to reduce them.
- Creates mechanical layouts and drawings to help in preventative/predictive maintenance tasks to eliminate equipment breakdowns and failures
- Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal/degraded equipment conditions that could negatively impact safety, quality, or productivity.
- Hands on in, troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintains equipment and machinery used
- Installs/troubleshoots/repairs hydraulic and pneumatic actuators
- Rebuilds various parts/equipment
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical Engineering Desired)
- Electrical and maintenance understanding ideal
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Team Player who Collaborates well with others
- Previous project management experience is beneficial
