We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our growing operations in Franklin, NC.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electromechanical components, circuit boards, and sub-assemblies following detailed instructions, schematics, and work orders
  • Perform mechanical assembly tasks with precision and consistency
  • Conduct electrical and functional testing of assemblies using standard test equipment
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and collaborate with engineering and technical staff to resolve problems
  • Inspect completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including build logs, inspection reports, and test results
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in production processes and workflow efficiency
Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in using basic hand tools (torque wrenches and other basic hand tools)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform repetitive manual tasks
Preferred
  • Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other regulated technical environments
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., J-STD-001, IPC-A-610)
  • Hands-on experience with electronics or mechanical assembly, repair, or related technical work
