COLOR SORTER TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting the ART, SMART, and OPTYX systems. The position interacts routinely with all areas of production as well as materials, maintenance, and quality assurance. Routine manufacturing shifts and hours will apply.
- Manage raw material product flow through ART, SMART, and OPTYX systems and other assigned areas
- Maintain quality of product passing through ART, SMART, and OPTYX systems in accordance with company established standards
- Manage sanitation requirements for ART, SMART, and OPTYX systems
- Perform and maintain operational requirements for ART, SMART, and OPTYX systems
- Perform required PMs and select maintenance of ART, SMART, and OPTYX systems
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment and machinery across all production areas as needed
- Any and all other duties assigned by Supervisor
Required Skills
- SKILLS: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, advanced computer application skills. Strong analytical, logic, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely at a fast pace, follow directions and conduct quality and safety inspections.
- ADDITIONAL: Dynamic, hands-on ability to work in an extremely fast-paced, team-oriented food processing environment. Must have the ability to make decisions, maintain regular and acceptable attendance, follow directions, and interact well with others.
Required Experience
- EXPERIENCE: Experience with 120v, 220v, and 480v, and three phases/camera imaging. Established work experience requiring involvement in manufacturing, electrical, and/or mechanical applications.
