Job SummaryThe Process Improvement Specialist performs work measurement and time studies in a foundry environment to support accurate labor standards and productivity improvements. This role works directly on the production floor observing foundry operations while ensuring safety, quality, and labor requirements are met.
What You’ll Do- Conduct time studies and work sampling on foundry operations
- Observe and document work methods and cycle times
- Assist with development and maintenance of labor standards
- Collect and report productivity and efficiency data
- Work with supervisors and operators to validate standards
- Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements

- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years experience in a foundry or industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to observe and record work activities accurately
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Prior time study or work measurement experience
- Knowledge of molding, melting, finishing, or material handling
- Experience in a union environment
- Production floor with heat, dust, and noise
- Standing and walking for extended period
- PPE required
- Must be able to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Must be able to pass respirator fit test and comply with requirements when working in regulated areas.
