The Process Improvement Specialist performs work measurement and time studies in a foundry environment to support accurate labor standards and productivity improvements. This role works directly on the production floor observing foundry operations while ensuring safety, quality, and labor requirements are met.

• Conduct time studies and work sampling on foundry operations
• Observe and document work methods and cycle times
• Assist with development and maintenance of labor standards
• Collect and report productivity and efficiency data
• Work with supervisors and operators to validate standards
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years experience in a foundry or industrial manufacturing environment
• Ability to observe and record work activities accurately
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Prior time study or work measurement experience
• Knowledge of molding, melting, finishing, or material handling
• Experience in a union environment
• Production floor with heat, dust, and noise
• Standing and walking for extended period
• PPE required
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Must be able to pass respirator fit test and comply with requirements when working in regulated areas.
