Production Floor Supervisor - 2nd shift

Description

The Production Floor Supervisor responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

Reports to Plant Manager

• Assigning responsibilities to production employees
• Coaching employees
• Supervising and monitoring employees
• Compiling production records
• Ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
• Maintaining quality service
• Ensuring production plans are completed in time
• Communicating with other manufacturing departments
• Identifying and troubleshooting production issues
• Ensuring and maintaining safe work environment
• Perform basic machine adjustments
• Understand and maintain 5s
• Lead by example, continuous work toward eliminating waste; idle workers, poor quality, used product, not meeting production goals
• Capable of lifting, standing for extended periods – production shift is 10 hours
• Continuously look for ways of process improvement
• Perform documentation requirements for FDA facility
• Other tasks/duties as assigned
• cGMP certified
