We’re looking for a Mechanical Technician (6:45pm - 7am, 2‑2‑3) to bring P.R.I.D.E. to our Production & manufacturing team.
Job PurposeThe maintenance technician ensures proper operation of the machinery and mechanical equipment. They perform regular services and maintenance procedures and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. The maintenance technician ensures the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on various production machines. This includes following diagrams, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications.
- Performs preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance duties on the production equipment as needed to assure that down time is kept to a minimum.
- Support and follow the site’s Preventive Maintenance Schedule
- Monitor, identify and respond promptly to signs of malfunction in machinery such as changes in performance
- Perform repairs on varous types of machinery, including mechanical, pneumatic, electric, and hydraulic.
- Identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner
- Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification or installation of machinery
- Use variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
- Maintain a schedule for inspection, service, and testing of machinery
- Observe and follow all company safety rules and regulations
- Training others
- The maintenance tech will work with the Maintenance Manager, maintenance team, machine operator and engineers to ensure the machines are performing at standard.
I encounter differing situations, and solving them requires the identification of the issue, the application of judgement and the selection of a solution from my expertise and acquired knowledge.

Educational Requirements: The Maintenance Technician must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
Prior
Experience:
The Maintenance Technician must have two years related experience.
Technical
Skills:
The Maintenance Tech must have mechanical and computer skills. They must be technically‑inclined and be able to properly utilize tools and machinery.
Physical Requirements: The ability and willingness to perform light to moderate lifting of raw materials and machine components up to 55 lbs. The ability and willingness to stand 100% of time and walk in the production facility. Adequate hand and finger coordination to manipulate small parts. Adequate vision and color perception. Minor stooping, bending, sitting, reaching and crouching as needed to inspect finished product and materials.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: Being able to recognize a problem and find the root cause through a logical repeatable process; being able to quickly think through a problem and come to a solution: being able to check things out systemically to find out what the problem is and why it has occurred.
