Job Summary

The Inventory Control and Material Handler supports the Materials Department by ensuring accurate cycle counts, participating in inventory reviews, and resolving discrepancies. The role supports production by maintaining an accurate record of materials.

• Conduct daily cycle counts.
• Use a computer to read and complete spreadsheets and reports, print tickets, and communicate via email and chat.
• Participate actively in recounts and resolve inventory inaccuracies.
• Investigate causes of inaccuracies and recommend corrective action.
• Support the Materials & Planning teams to reconcile cycle counts and negative inventories.
• Demonstrate customer service, flexibility, adaptability, cooperation, and teamwork with all team members involved in cycle counting.
• Become familiar with all plant products and how parts are counted.
• Ensure conformance to plant standards of safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Clean and maintain the work area in accordance with plant standards.
• Maintain excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain a good performance, safety, conduct, and attendance record.
• Perform other duties assigned by leadership.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year prior experience in an inventory and/or data entry role.
• 1+ years of forklift experience.
• Preferred internal applicant.
• Individuals who have taken corrective action at Level 3 in the past 12 months are ineligible to apply.

Base Hourly Rate: $23.22. Compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and other factors.
