Production Supervisor

Onsite, Mebane, NC

• Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi‑finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
• Use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge and use of tools (tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools) as needed.
• Ability to safely use a ladder during the job, as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Candidate must already have work authorization permitting employment for ABB in the U.S.

The Division offers segment‑specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry, and infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium‑voltage link between high‑voltage transmission systems and low‑voltage users. With ABB Ability‑enabled connected solutions at its core, the offering includes medium‑voltage air‑ and gas‑insulated switch gear (1 to 66 kV), indoor and outdoor circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, contractors, relays, instrument transformers, sensors, motor control centers, and low‑voltage switch gear for ANSI standard markets.
