* Position Summary:

* The Assembly Operator I is responsible for assembling components and ensuring the consistent production of high-quality products. The role requires keen attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow structured work instructions and safety procedures.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Assemble electrical/mechanical components using microscopes, small hand tools, and fixtures.

+ Inspect work-in-progress using established quality standards and detailed work instructions.

+ Utilize calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices for component verification.

+ Perform pull tests and troubleshoot minor issues with equipment as necessary.

+ Complete operational paperwork to maintain product traceability.

+ Support housekeeping and maintain an organized work area.

+ Adhere to all company and departmental policies, safety guidelines, and EH&S procedures.

+ Read and follow detailed drawings and written instructions.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

* Qualifications:

* + High School diploma or GED preferred.

+ Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience required, with understanding of core manufacturing principles:
Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity.

+ Basic computer proficiency preferred.

+ Effective communication and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to interpret product blueprints (preferred).

+ Experience using measuring devices such as gauges and calipers (preferred).

+ Able to work overtime as needed to meet production goals.

+ Physically able to move materials up to 50 pounds, remain in a stationary position 75% of shift, operate machinery, and navigate between work zones.

+ Proficiency in reading and understanding written instructions in English.
