Production Associate - 2nd Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists operators at the coil loading and packaging ends of the line and as needed.
• Build pallets and shipping containers using hand and power tools.
• Band and palletize metal coils and/or metal sheets, placing tags/labels on finished products.
• Perform quality checks to verify proper lengths, widths, and weights are adhered to using the proper tools.
• Detects and reports faulty operations or defective materials.
• Moves or carries parts, equipment, or materials.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Wraps and unwraps materials.
• Housekeeping of work areas.
• Operates a sit‑down forklift.
• Achieves production goals while complying with all safety requirements.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift. Training and certification provided regardless of previous experience.
• Ability to read documents and interpret facts and draw conclusions.
• Understanding basic math, reading, and writing.
• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• Production facility where ambient temperature may fluctuate, and noise levels may increase.
• Flexible to possibility of overtime and weekend hours when required.
• Hours:
  
  2nd shift 1:50 pm to 9:50 pm Monday through Friday.

• Lifting or carrying: 0‑30 %.
• Pushing or pulling: 0‑30 %.
• Bending or stooping: 0‑30 %.
• Reaching above shoulder level: 0‑30 %.
• Driving automatic equipment vehicles: 0‑30 %.
• Operate machinery or power tools: 0‑30 %.

• Standing: 0‑30 %.
• Sitting: 0‑30 %.Working in extreme temperatures: 0‑30 %.
• Repetitive motion (wrists, hands, fingers): 0‑30 %.
• Vision: 0‑30 %.
• Hearing: 0‑30 %.
• Dexterity: 0‑30 %.
• Hand‑eye coordination: 0‑30 %.

• Steel or composite toe boots, safety glasses, cut‑resistant gloves and arm guards, and hearing protection.
