General Laborer

JC Pallet is looking for a laborer at the Bladenboro, NC facility. The main duties of this position include cleaning the loading docks, restacking pallets on trailers, sweeping out trailers, and performing other tasks as assigned. Employees must use personal safety equipment in a manufacturing environment that involves moving machinery, forklift traffic, and variable work conditions.

• Ensures the loading dock is clean
• Help with the unloading process of trailers (restack pallets, pick up wood material, etc.)
• Sweep out and clean trailers
• Other tasks that are assigned

• Frequent lifting and bending of nothing more than 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

• Occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot.
• Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided).
• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.

• Monday – Friday 7am until at least 5pm; sometimes later or earlier.
• Some Saturday work may be required.
