Assembly 1st Shift
The Greer Group is hiring 1st shift assemblers for our manufacturing client located in Laurinburg, NC! Temp to hire pay: $14.00/hour, paid weekly! Major job duties and responsibilities include rotating through all the tasks required in a particular production process, determining work assignments and procedures, shoveling and sweeping work areas, operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, providing assistance in the production of wiring assemblies, and using small hand tools to assemble items together.
Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor. Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability. Team player and detail oriented. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or national security operations for the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
Must pass a background check and drug test. HS diploma or GED required.
