Receiving Coordinator - Liquid Bulk Receiving
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and dependable Bulk Liquid Receiving Coordinator to join our 1st Shift team in Arden, NC. In this role, you will play a critical part in receiving bulk liquid raw materials delivered by tanker trucks, safely unloading product, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting material flow operations through our ERP system (E21).
Responsibilities- Receive inbound bulk liquid raw materials delivered via tanker trucks.
- Safely unload tankers into designated storage systems following SOPs and food safety requirements.
- Verify inbound materials against purchase orders, bills of lading, and receiving documentation.
- Electronically record all inbound materials into the E21 ERP system accurately and timely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for bulk liquid raw materials and storage tanks.
- Coordinate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure materials meet specifications prior to use.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory reconciliation and cycle count activities.
- Communicate tanker arrival, unloading status, inventory concerns, and discrepancies to leadership.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tanker receiving and unloading areas.
- Follow all company safety, quality, GMP, and food safety standards while escalating concerns appropriately.
- Support yard flow and tanker movement coordination as needed.
- Examine incoming materials to ensure all specifications and quality standards are met.
- Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and confirm accuracy of received items.
- Support warehouse operations, including safe material handling and organization.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in receiving, manufacturing, bulk liquid handling, inventory control, supply chain operations, or warehouse operations.
- Experience working with ERP/WMS systems required; E21 experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors around tanker trucks and industrial equipment, in a wet, noisy, non‑temperature‑controlled environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
Spanish speaking is a plus. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience operating a yard tractor is a strong plus but not required.
- Forklift operation not required but a plus; forklift certification or willingness to train.
- Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Tuesday to Friday 10‑hour shifts, flexible start/stop times (1st Shift).
Salary Information$19 – $22.1 hourly wage.
