Trillium Professional is hiring CNC Machinists – Mill & Lathe (1st & 2nd Shift) in the greater Wilmington Area, NC (On-site)!
Pay rate is $26.00 – $45.00/hour (Based on Experience & Skillset). Schedule is 1st & 2nd Shift, 40–50 hours/week with overtime available.

Whether your expertise is in milling or turning, you will play a critical role in bringing precision designs to life. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and (depending on experience) programming of high-end CNC equipment to meet exacting tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, job tickets, and technical drawings.
- Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.).
- Perform routine machine maintenance and tool/insert adjustments.
- Monitor tool wear and optimize setups to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet tight deadlines and quality standards.
State-of-the-Art Facility:
Our client's shop floor is equipped with a wide array of high-spec machinery, including:
- Milling: 4-axis and 5-axis vertical and horizontal machining centers.
- Turning:
Multi-axis turning centers with live tooling, sub-spindles, and automated bar feeders. - Fabrication & Support:
Automated laser and waterjet systems, CNC routers, and high-spec TIG/MIG welding units. - Climate-Controlled QC Lab:
Featuring CMMs (DCC), optical comparators, and a full suite of precision gauging.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience:
3–5+ years of CNC machining experience (Mill, Lathe, or both). - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in G-code programming and independent machine setup. - Precision:
Strong understanding of technical drawings, GD&T, and holding tight tolerances. - Reliability:
Ability to stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment and work occasional Saturdays as needed.
