Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and shipping industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting logistics and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $20

Shift: First shift M-F 6:30am - 3:00pm

What's the Job?

• Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders and transporting pallets of product
• Be a motivated and open-minded team member, willing to adapt to new techniques and processes
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet established goals
• Load and unload pallets to and from trucks
• Use handheld computers and other technology to track load progress

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• A minimum of 6 months of forklift experience
• Ability to read orders and record information in English
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Must be forklift certified
