Logic Manufacturing continues to expand its precision machining capabilities and is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist Lead to help support growing production demands, prototype development, and complex machining projects.
This position plays a critical role in producing high-precision components and assemblies for a diverse customer base. You'll be trusted to take ownership of machine setups, program optimization, troubleshooting, quality verification, and mentoring less experienced machinists while helping maintain the high standards Logic Manufacturing is known for.

- The Work You'll Be Doing
In this role, you will:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines including 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining centers
Perform complete machine setups including tooling, fixtures, work offsets, and prove-outs
Edit and optimize CNC programs at the machine to improve efficiency, cycle times, and tool life
Troubleshoot machining, tooling, fixture, and program-related issues
Produce tight-tolerance precision components in a production manufacturing environment
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements
Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve manufacturing processes
Maintain setup documentation, tooling information, and process records
Mentor and support junior machinists and operators
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, and waste reduction

- What We're Looking For Required
5+ years of CNC machining experience
Strong setup and operation experience on CNC milling machines
Ability to edit and optimize G-code programs at the machine
Experience with Haas and/or Okuma equipment preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Strong understanding of tooling, work holding, offsets, and machining processes
Experience performing first-article and in-process inspections
Proficiency using precision measuring equipment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented mindset
Preferred
4-axis and 5-axis machining experience
CAM programming experience
Experience in a lead machinist or mentoring role
Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experience
NIMS certification, apprenticeship training, or formal machining education
Familiarity with ISO 9001 manufacturing environments
