Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes. Each day, you will use machinery and equipment on the shop floor and read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.
- Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi‑finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines.
- Perform work manually or by using light hand tools.
- Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
- Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Legal authorization to work in the US.
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40 lbs.
Manufacturing plant environments require a combination of hands‑on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel‑toed shoes, is required to ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to safety guidelines is essential for all team members.
