Machine Operator- 2nd Shift

Do you have experience working in a manufacturing environment and want to put your machine operating skills to work? Are you familiar with blueprints and comfortable using calipers and gauges? We are hiring for a manufacturing client located in La Grange, NC. You must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a national background check and a lab drug test.

Salary: $17.35 - $17.36 per hour

Shift: Second (3 PM – 11:30 PM)

Work hours:

3 PM – 11:30 PM

Education:

High School diploma or GED

Set up and operate machines and assemble components to produce quality parts based on pre‑determined specifications. Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances. Set up, start, and observe machine operations, troubleshoot or adjust as required, operate a variety of machines, and assemble components. Complete changeovers or material feed through. Complete first‑piece inspections and machine guarding checklists. Inspect finished work pieces with gauges and calipers for conformance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

• Wear steel‑toe shoes
• Manual lifting up to 35 lbs
• Stand for 8 hours at one time
• Work up to 4 hours of overtime per week
• Work weekends

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience (preferred 2 years)
• Blueprint reading experience (preferred 1 year)

• Machine operation experience (2 years preferred)
• Manufacturing experience (1 year required)
• Blueprint reading (1 year preferred)
• Manual lifting
