Overview
Blue Rhino is seeking a Full-Time Production Specialist to join our hardworking and safety‑focused team. This hands‑on, labor‑intensive role involves frequently lifting and stacking 40 lb. propane cylinders while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Each cylinder you handle is cleaned, leak‑tested, and inspected, ensuring safety and satisfaction of our customers. Schedule7:00am – 5:30pm
PayWith consistent learning and strong performance, you can advance from Level I to Level II and up to Senior Level. Below is the pay scale that shows your opportunity for growth:
- Production Specialist I – $17.00
- Production Specialist II – $18.00
- Sr Production Specialist – $19.00

- Performs washer functions: placing cylinders on conveyor belt, sorting, removing sleeves and peeling labels.
- Cylinders dispatched to paint, fill, or rework stations.
- Completes paint line operations: loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint bag applicator, and unloading tank hanger.
- Operates shot blast, tare weight entry station, capper (data code label), and stacker (palletizing).
- Manually checks for leaks, weight problems, or sleeve malfunctions.
- Performs cylinder refurb operations based on workstation.
- Stacks finished product.
- Checks for quality assurance.
- Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day in all weather conditions.
- Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
- Ability to work overtime, as required.
- Ability to understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
