Production Supervisor
Your Role And ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will supervise shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area. Each day, you will provide regular feedback and recommend issues within the production line, including line organization, shifting priorities, and critical situations. You will cooperate with the unit supervisor to create an effective work environment, reinforcing production schedules and quality.
The work model for the role is onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility.
- Help management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages, or shifting priorities.
- Reinforce focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Assist management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift.
- Serve as a leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistics issues.
The Role
- 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
- Specialist Technical & Engineering Skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs.
Manufacturing plant environment requires a combination of hands‑on and technical tasks. Work may involve occasional lifting of materials, climbing stairs/ladders, and walking. Employees may be required to bend, twist, or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of computers is necessary for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Employees will also handle a variety of tools and equipment, from hand tools to machinery, requiring technical skills and adherence to safety protocols.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel‑toed shoes, is required to ensure a safe working environment. Adhering to safety guidelines is essential for all team members. The work environment requires physical endurance, technical proficiency, and a commitment to maintaining safety standards to contribute to a productive and rewarding workplace.
