Accent Wire Tie is seeking a
Bilingual
Production Supervisor for its fast-paced manufacturing environment. Accent Wire Tie is a leading manufacturer of baling wire in the United States. Accent’s network of facilities provides distribution coverage from east coast to west coast and into Canada.
This position will oversee approx. 20 employees and be responsible for attaining defined production goals and driving productivity improvements through training and mentoring. The successful candidate will be available to work 2nd or 3 Shift and have supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidate must be conversational in both English and Spanish, have basic PC Skills (Word, Excel, Email, etc.) and be willing to work hands-on to resolve issues and challenges that may affect productivity.

Responsibilities would include but not limited:

• Assign and direct work performance for up to 20 production employees.
• Perform daily machine and equipment checks for both safety and efficiency.
• Track, monitor and report production metrics
• Training and on-boarding of new employees
• Schedule and prioritize production, with input from Production Manager.
• Drive continuous improvement through training, coaching and counseling.
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) to assist shipping and receiving department.
• Coordinate with maintenance department to resolve mechanical issues
• Conduct cycle-counts and inventory checks
• Perform and document Quality Control checks

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Conversational level fluency in English and Spanish
• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and balance priorities.
• A self-starter who requires little to no supervision.
• Work with a sense of urgency.
• Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
