Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Spherion is hiring Assemblers for positions in the Weaverville and Woodfin, NC areas. No experience required.

Work Schedules Available:

• 1st Shift: Monday‑Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
• 2nd Shift: Monday‑Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

• Apply and assemble wiring harnesses, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams to accomplish accurate assembly.
• Use a wide range of hand tools, drills, rivet guns, saws, hy‑pot testers, and drill presses.
• Inspect parts during sub‑assembly and at key points to ensure that the unit meets specified quality standards prior to moving unit to the next workstation.
• Clean and pack final product using approved chemicals.

Working hours:

6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

• Able to measure in fractions.
• Work independently.
• Fine attention to detail.

High School diploma or equivalent.

0 – 1 year.

• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must have experience using and reading a tape measure.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
