Sr Lead

Floor Lead (Sr. Lead)

The Floor Lead will oversee production lines to ensure finished products meet quality standards and customer expectations.

• Back up to Production Supervisor.
• Collaborate with Quality Department for positive production results.
• Inspect production lines as needed on complex or critical jobs.
• Maintain knowledge of job rates running on the production line.
• Ensure work packets are completed correctly and accurately.
• Train and supervise production staff.
• Execute all computer functions related to the role.
• Document quality inspections to meet required customer, company, or industry specifications.
• Print and coordinate case labels and messages for production lines.
• Manage and classify reclaim, scrap, and damaged product or materials.
• Maintain a safe work environment.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1 year of related experience or training in warehouse production.

• Ability to lead/supervise large groups of associates.
• Understanding of quality standards, methods, and reporting.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to plan in advance for production in your area.
• Interpret oral and written instructions.
• Produce high level results through your staff.
• Work with plant management for required results.
• Process information and merchandise through computer system.

Primarily works in a production/warehouse setting. Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift. Frequent lifting of 25 lbs or more.
