As a Plant Manager, you will be a key player in shaping a supportive and engaging work environment for the Faison, NC plant, a manufacturer of quality pickles. Your role involves complete ownership and accountability for overall plant operations, ensuring employee engagement, safety, quality, customer service, continuous improvement, cost, and production objectives are met or exceeded. You will make strategic recommendations to improve efficiency, safety, throughput, cost reduction, productivity, schedule compliance, and quality.

• Provide coaching and leadership to team members in employee engagement, safety, quality, customer service, continuous improvement, cost, and equipment reliability.
• Promote a safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and protocols.
• Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of the operations strategy in line with overall operational objectives to achieve safety, quality, and performance improvement.
• Lead the continuous improvement program to deliver opportunities in cost, quality, food safety, and service.
• Utilize OEE data, line speed targets, and efficiency & process data to continuously improve productivity, uptime, and reliability.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions and suppliers to optimize production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plant-wide initiatives.

• High school diploma or equivalent (required);
  Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in a production or food manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience leading in a union environment (preferred).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control procedures, and inventory management.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
