• Material Handlers/Powered Equipment Operators will work with forklifts, jack lifts, high lifts, and other powered industrial trucks to move product throughout the facility.
• These positions require meeting specific certifications during the qualification period and may be physically demanding, requiring good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Work with scheduled shifts and may be required to work overtime depending on production demands.

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Applicants must be willing and able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Stand on concrete and/or platforms for extended periods, perform tasks requiring continuous/repetitive movement, and work around animal blood or carcass parts.
• Work in cold (approximately 20–40 degrees) or warm areas (over 100 degrees) and in damp, humid environments.
• Wear PPE including hard hats, hearing/eye protection, and steel-toed safety shoes, and operate in a noisy environment.
• Possible exposure to sanitation/cleaning chemicals and strong odors.
• Climb/move on ladders, steps, stairways, walkways, and platforms; bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly; walk long distances.
• May require certification to operate various equipment; some roles may involve overhead lifting (up to 30 lbs) and occasional heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance.
• Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Previous experience with material handling or equipment operation is preferred but not required, as certifications may be provided during qualification.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow safety procedures.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a team-focused production line.
