We are looking for a Redissolve Operator who is responsible for operation of the redissolve tanks and associated material and production equipment, circuit material management, housekeeping, and packaging support. Meeting the requirements outlined in standard operating procedures. This is a great opportunity to perform daily safety inspections to comply with all facilities, regulatory, and safety training. Reporting to the Production Lead and working in a collaborative community in a challenging and exciting environment within Hydroxide Line 1, you will be

• Responsible for making up batches of redissolve per the SOP and production requirements
• Responsible for sampling, dumping scale drums at the filter press, repackaging small bags into drums, moving materials for Hydroxide and packaging, etc. as required for operations
• Responsible for housekeeping throughout the Salts area
• Responsible to keep personal training up to date.
• Responsible for effective shift turnover
• Collect and interpret information for making decisions from instruments and computers.

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
• Technical diploma, associate degree, or certification in Chemical Process Technology, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Technology, or related field, strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of the education criteria outlined above, and relevant manufacturing experience required.
• Uses logic and appropriate methods to successfully troubleshoot and solve difficult problems.
• Skilled in operating all area equipment and had the ability to run more than one unit at a time when required.
• Ability to service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of mechanical principles.
