Weld on lighthouses, aids to navigation, barges, boats, ships and small vessels and their associated equipment;
Weld various ship components including shell, engine parts, framing, tanks, decks, bulkheads, superstructures, masts, rails, piping;
Remove interferences in welds, fit brackets and foundations, and patch structural elements;
Maintain safety and welding procedures; adjust welding controls;
Read blueprints/drawings and apply appropriate welding techniques and processes
