Welds ship components including shell, brackets, machinery foundations, tanks, decks, bulkheads, etc.;
Reads blueprints, sketches, and online drawings to layout and fit components;
Operates multiple welding processes (oxyacetylene, oxyhydrogen, gas metal-arc, gas tungsten-arc, gas carbon-arc, plasma-arc, shielded metal arc) to fabricate and repair parts;
Maintains safety procedures and ensures welding procedures adhere to standards;
Works with various metals and alloys and inspects weld quality per specifications
