Pender County is seeking a certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator for our 0.5 MGD facility. The role requires operating and maintaining equipment, collecting samples, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to protect public water and the environment.
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a NC driver’s license, and preferably a NC Grade I Biological Wastewater Operator Certification; NC Grade I Wastewater Operator Certificate during probation may be required.
