Entry-level position in the automotive fabrication process. Cross training on other equipment will be required so the employee understands daily team activities.
Position SummaryInvolvement in day-to-day operation of the automotive fabrication process. While individuals will be assigned primarily to servicer duties, they are not limited to that area and will cross-train on other positions as required.
Essential Functions- Minimize machine downtime through proper loading/unloading techniques.
- Knowledge of CMS in areas of properly reporting production and scrap.
- Utilize proper handling techniques to minimize product damage.
- Attend all safety training and meetings.
- Maximize use of foam to obtain optimum yield.
- Notify supervisor or manager of any safety or quality issues.
- Maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Visually inspect chops for quality issues/physical damage prior to processing.
- Rolling buns and staging them as required.
- Keep the area neat, organized and clean as well as follow 5S principles, as they are appropriate.
- Cross train in other positions as required.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed by the employee’s supervisor.
