Material Handler

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Shipping Department supporting the logistics and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Burgaw, NC

Pay Range: $20.5

Shift: Night and Evening Shifts (20:00-03:00)

What's the Job?

• Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders and transporting pallets of product
• Be a motivated and open-minded team member, willing to adapt to new techniques and processes
• Load and unload pallets to and from trucks efficiently and safely
• Use handheld computers and other technology to track load progress accurately
• Work independently or as part of a team to meet established goals and deadlines

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• A minimum of 6 months of forklift experience and certification
• Ability to read orders and record information in English accurately
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime as required
