We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.
We are looking for a Machinist I to join our team. This position will be based onsite at ourPACS manufacturing facility in Wendell, NC.
As aMachinistI,you willbe responsible forusing precision tools and machines to create, repair, rework and assemble parts made from metal and other materials.
You willset up andvalidatemachining programs to ensure the safe and precise production of complex parts according to detailed print specifications. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, configuring settingson various machine shop machines, including but not limited to a mill,latheandother equipment.
You willbeoverseeing the entire machining process to guarantee that all components meet the required quality standards. You will also troubleshoot and adjust programs as needed tooptimizeaccuracy and efficiency while adhering to all safety protocols and production timelines. Yourexpertisewill be crucial inmaintainingconsistent output and achieving high-tolerance specifications for each part.

You’llmake an impact by:- Operate finish and engine lathe equipment to produce complex components, meeting customerrequirementsand production deadlines.
