Nail Gun Operator – Starting at $16.50/hour (More Based on Experience!)

We are seeking motivated individuals to work as Nail Gun Operators, building pallets and handling lumber products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. No experience is required—we provide training. Candidates with pallet manufacturing, lumber, construction, or manufacturing experience may qualify for higher starting pay based on experience.
Job SummaryThe Nail Gun Operator is responsible for safely building pallets and other wood products using pneumatic (air-powered) nail guns while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards. This position also assists with handling, stacking, labeling, and preparing lumber products for shipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Build pallets and wood products using a pneumatic (air) nail gun
- Safely operate, maintain, and troubleshoot air nail guns and related equipment
- Measure, position, and assemble lumber components according to specifications
- Move, stack, and secure lumber products and materials according to instructions
- Stack finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and customer requirements
- Apply labels and tags identifying product type, size, and quantity
- Band, bundle, and secure materials for shipment, including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks
- Verify correct quantities and materials are properly strapped and labeled before leaving the work area
- Maintain accurate production records and complete production sheets as required
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring tags and reporting discrepancies to supervisors
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility
- Participate in safety meetings, continuous improvement initiatives, and company programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- No experience required; training provided
- Previous experience with nail guns, pallet assembly, manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or lumber operations is preferred
- Basic math and measuring skills preferred
- Ability to work safely in a production environment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Starting pay of $16.50/hour
- Higher starting rates available based on experience
