Pay is $ 18.30 per hour. Clock in time is approximately 7:10 AM. REHIRES ARE SUBJECT TO A 91 DAY WAIT PERIOD, determined from their last date of employment, to apply for FRESH PLANT. MUST PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS TASKED BY ADMINISTRATION. MUST BE SAFE AND OBSERVE ALL OF TYSONS POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.

Hang Product on moving halving line. Job Synopsis:
Grasp one Product in each hand from a recirculation conveyor at waist height. Place the Product into moving shackle line at chest height. And any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

The General Production Labor position provides hands-on support to production operations by performing a variety of manual and production-related tasks as assigned. This role supports product flow, quality, and efficiency while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies, food safety standards, and procedures in a fresh food manufacturing environment.

• Perform assigned production tasks to support processing, packaging, and material handling operations
• Assist with product handling, sorting, stacking, and staging as required
• Maintain continuous product flow to prevent downtime or congestion
• Monitor product for quality defects and report concerns promptly
• Assist line operators with setup, changeovers, and general line support
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment
• Remove waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supervisor instructions
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and allergen control requirements
• Comply with OSHA regulations and Tyson safety policies
• Use required PPE and follow safe work practices

• Work directly with raw, in-process, or packaged fresh product
• Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation, and contamination prevention standards
• Wear required PPE, including gloves, aprons, hairnets, and protective footwear
• Work in temperature-controlled environments, including cold, wet, or humid conditions

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
• Ability to work in cold, wet, or humid conditions typical of a fresh plant environment

Must be available to work assigned shifts Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on production needs.

The General Production Labor employee is expected to maintain a safe work environment and strictly comply with Tyson policies, food safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and plant procedures. This role is essential to supporting daily production operations and maintaining efficient, safe, and compliant operations at the Plant.
