Line Worker 3rd Shift

Debbie's Staffing is looking for a 3rd Shift Packer in Rural Hall, NC.

Hours:

8:00pm-6:00am Monday through Thursday. Must be able to work overtime as requested.

Pay rate: $15.00 per hour, Weekly Pay!

Responsible for efficiently and accurately packaging products according to established standards and procedures. Will work as part of a team on a production line, ensuring that products are prepared, sorted, labeled, and packed for distribution. This role is essential for maintaining product quality, meeting production quotas, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the packing line.

• Quality Control: Inspect products for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications, and ensure that only products meeting the established standards are packaged.
• Packing: Operate packaging machinery and equipment, such as conveyor belts, sealing machines, and labeling machines, to package products into containers, boxes, or bags.
• Labeling and Sorting: Apply labels, stickers, or barcodes to products and ensure that they are correctly sorted and grouped according to product type and packaging requirements.
• Material Handling: Safely handle and transport packaging materials, containers, and product components within the packing area.
• Safety: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area, including regular cleaning of equipment and work spaces.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues on the production line to ensure smooth and efficient operations, including assisting with tasks as needed.
• Problem Solving: Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisors for timely resolution.

• Must be able to pass all new hiring screenings.
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• Attention to detail and strong quality control skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must follow all PPE requirements (steel toe shoes are required).
