Feed Mill Maintenance Superintendent-MFN-8844-SNF-1

Role Summary

Ensure the manufacture of quality finished feed through proper equipment operation, execute and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule. Responsible for daily inspection of the feed mill and boiler room, assist the plant manager with the operations budget, and maintain equipment records, plant diagrams, repair records, costs, and manuals.

To guarantee the production of high‑quality finished feed by operating equipment correctly and keeping maintenance schedules up to date.

• Personnel Management and Development:
  Teach proper techniques and train staff on equipment operation, resulting in reduced downtime and higher product quality.
• Run and manage the preventative maintenance system, oversee CER and major repair projects, communicate with vendors and contractors, and work closely with the mill team to find the correct solution, ensuring quality repairs and team building.
• Maintain and monitor M&R activities for the mill by gathering input from all managers and operators, producing a consistent quality product.
• Analytics:
  Create historical data files to isolate problem areas and facilitate decision‑making.
• Create and promote a culture of safety.

• High school diploma or GED; technical training in mechanics and computer skills.
• 3‑5 years of relevant experience plus 2+ years of mechanical or feed‑mill experience, and supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with 3‑phase electric systems and hydraulics.
