The location in Plymouth, (North Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Shipping/Planning Coordinator
. This job is full-time permanent.

Key Functions:
  • Responsible for establishing & maintaining the production schedule for the NC5 fluff pulp machine. This will include properly maintaining, scheduling, and managing of the mill-stock production order fulfillment process.
  • Conducts daily reviews of container booking status changes. Then updates production schedule & order files with these daily changes.
  • Coordinates with the Logistics Manager and Corporate Production Planner to allocate customer product orders, update forecast demand for each product customer, and set proper lead times for order production while minimizing the need for grade, set up, and transportation changes.
  • Assists in managing mill inventory levels for finished goods to ensure availability is consistent with planned shipment windows and customer required onsite stock inventory . Manages existing warehouse inventory and applies to incoming orders as required.
  • Co ordinates production & transportation capacity planning . A dvises Logistics Manager & Corporate Product ion Planner of imbalances requiring schedule modifications or order shipment schedule adjustments.
  • Will be required to plan and schedule shipments with dedicated dray carrier, trucking and rail lines as orders are processed & updated.
  • Maintains accurate onsite order files, including daily changes & updates.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to gain profi ci ency with Autoprod , DPS, and other software platforms related to the performance of daily job duties .
  • Must have strong planning, prioritizing, problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Possess leadership potential and a mindset for driving positive change in processes , expectations, and performance .
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and oral). Ability to effectively communicate across different levels of the organization .
  • Some level of production and/or transportation planning experience is preferred.
  • Must be willing to be on-call including working off hours and weekends as required. This position will be required to take after hours & weekend call duty for the Planning group.
  • You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
