Tactical Evolution Group is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position focuses on the productions of tactical gear used by military, law enforcement, first responder and medical personnel.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well as part of a production team, and is comfortable working with industrial sewing equipment and heavy-duty materials.
Prior tactical nylon experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided to the right candidate with strong sewing skills and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities- Operate industrial sewing machines (single-needle, double-needle, binder, bartack, walking foot, etc.)
- Sew materials including nylon, nylon webbing, binding tape, hook-and-loop, elastic, mesh, and other heavy-duty textiles.
- Perform straight stitching, edge binding, reinforcement stitching, box stitches, bar tacks, and other production sewing operations as required.
- Follow patterns, work instructions, samples, and production specifications.
- Assemble components accurately and consistently according to product requirements.
- Inspect work throughout the manufacturing process for proper stitching, alignment, dimensions, and overall workmanship.
- Trim threads and complete finishing operations to ensure products meet TEG's quality standards.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe workstation.
- Assist with cutting, binding, marking, assembly, packaging, and other production duties when needed.
- Previous experience as a sewing machine operator required w.
- Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read a ruler and accurately measure materials.
- Ability to sew at a consistent speed while maintaining quality
- Experience working to production quotas and quality standards
- Willingness to learn new products, sewing techniques, and manufacturing processes.
