Do you thrive on diagnosing production issues and making precise logic changes that keep lines humming? Are Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Schneider, or Siemens PLCs your toolset of choice? Do you enjoy partnering with technical teams to commission new equipment and improve reliability every day? If yes, you will feel right at home in our Automation group supporting the manufacturing of optical fiber.
What problems will you solve?
Create and sustain PLC programs that control manufacturing processes and support equipment for both production and facilities.
Provide PC and PLC controls expertise to keep optical fiber lines stable, safe, and efficient.
Troubleshoot equipment and control software issues in real time alongside technical staff.
Lead and support commissioning activities for new production equipment.
Maintain rigorous program and critical file backups per plant standards.
Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 HSE guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or a member of management.
What you will bring to the teamB.S. in Engineering or Computer Science.
Hands-on programming experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Schneider, and or Siemens PLCs.Sharp troubleshooting skills and methodical problem-solving.
Commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Meticulous, quality-focused mindset.
Self-directed and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
Great to have Experience in fiber optic or other highly automated manufacturing settings.
Depth in IEC PLC languages:
Ladder, Sequential function charts, Structured text, and Function Block Diagrams.
Knowledge of Profibus, Ethernet, and Modbus+ communication protocols.
HMI application development, including PC-to-PLC and PC-to-Database transactions.
Experience programming servo drives and motion controllers.
