Production Worker; Salt Room

• Assist with the setup of work areas to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Prepare tables and equipment for daily production activities
• Operate a mixer to blend curing ingredients accurately
• Use a ham press to process meat products as required
• Lift and transfer hams from bins to tables safely and efficiently
• Lift bags of salt and other ingredients, adhering to safety protocols
• Use a knife to trim meat, ensuring quality and precision
• Unstop drains that may become backed up with salt or other debris
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards

• Willingness to obtain forklift certification (training provided)
• Ability to lift heavy objects such as bags of salt and meat products
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Ability to operate basic equipment such as mixers and ham presses
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
• Reliable, team-oriented attitude with a focus on safety and quality
