** Job Summary*
* Kelly Services ins hiring an temp to hire Assembly Operator I performs component assembly for aerospace relays and switches. This position may involve using microscopes, small hand tools, fixtures, measuring devices, and written work instructions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, willing to learn, works well in a team environment, and is committed to producing high-quality parts.

** Responsibilities*
* + Assemble components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications.

+ Inspect completed work using quality standards and documented procedures.

+ Conduct pull tests when required for specific operations.

+ Measure components using calipers, gauges, and other measuring equipment.

+ Inspect products against prints and specifications.

+ Complete required production paperwork to maintain product traceability.

+ Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs when authorized.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

+ Follow all company, department, safety, and environmental health procedures.

+ Operate machinery and move between designated work areas.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

** Qualifications*
* + High school diploma or GED preferred.

+ At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred.

+ Basic computer skills preferred.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to read and follow written instructions in English.

+ Ability to interpret product drawings or blueprints preferred.

+ Experience using calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices preferred.

+ Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet production goals.

+ Willingness to work overtime as needed.

** Physical Requirements*
* + Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

+ Ability to remain in a stationary position for approximately 75% of the workday.

+ Ability to operate manufacturing machinery.

+ Ability to move between work zones.

+ Ability to use small hand tools and perform detailed assembly work, including tasks that may require a microscope.
