Openwork is currently seeking experienced MIG/Wire Welders for a long-term opportunity in Norwood, NC. This is a safety-critical position for a skilled welder who takes pride in quality work, accuracy, and following established safety standards.

Job Responsibilities Operate MIG/Wire welding equipment to complete projects according to specifications

Perform high-quality welds while meeting safety and production standards

Read and interpret measurements, drawings, and job requirements

Ensure proper fit, alignment, and accuracy of welded components

Inspect work for quality and accuracy

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Meet production expectations while maintaining quality workmanship

Requirements

Previous MIG/Wire Welding experience required

Strong measuring skills and attention to detail

Ability to accurately read a tape measure

Must be able to pass a tape measure skills assessment

Must successfully complete a welding skills test on scrap material

Ability to demonstrate safe work practices

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
