Our manufacturing facility in Aberdeen, NC is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to become part of our production staff. In this role, you will be responsible for running CNC equipment to manufacture high-precision parts, ensuring that all output aligns with our established quality, safety, and production benchmarks.

Successful applicants will demonstrate practical experience in CNC machine operation, the ability to interpret technical blueprints and instructions, proficiency with precision measurement tools, and a keen eye for inspecting completed components.

Role Summary

Primary Duties

Execute CNC machine tasks to manufacture components that meet exact design requirements
Manage the loading of raw materials and the removal of completed parts
Prepare and fasten work pieces by utilizing the correct tooling and fixtures
Adhere to production orders, CNC programming, and technical blueprints to ensure accuracy
Oversee the ongoing operation of machinery and production workflows
Conduct thorough inspections of parts during and after the manufacturing process
Utilize precision tools like micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measures to verify dimensions
Perform routine adjustments to machine settings and offsets to maintain output quality
Detect and resolve dimensional or quality discrepancies to ensure consistent production
Track the condition of tooling to prevent damage or excessive wear
Document production data and quality metrics with high accuracy
Help maintain a clean and orderly workspace to improve overall shop efficiency
Contribute to a secure working environment by strictly following all safety protocols and PPE guidelines
Help the team achieve consistent production output and quality goals

Required Qualifications

Prior experience operating CNC machinery is highly desirable
Background working within a machining or manufacturing environment
Proven ability to interpret and apply work instructions and technical blueprints
Working knowledge of CNC controls and general machine functionality
Practical experience with precision measurement instrumentation
Strong focus on maintaining high quality and attention to detail
Foundational mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
Capacity to function effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member
Consistent attendance record and a dedicated professional approach
Physical ability to remain standing for long shifts and handle materials as needed
