About the role

This position is responsible foroperatingthe densifier unit by continuously feeding fiber material into the machine for extended periods, involving frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motion.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operate the densifier unit safely and efficiently and feed fiber material into the designated machine opening.
• Maintain efficiency to the approved standard.
• Inspect items and sortby means ofvisual inspections toinsurethey are defect free.
• Prep product via deburring and cleaning to meet product standard.
• Inspect and pack productin accordancewiththe standard.
• Maintain work area and equipment by cleaning,organizing and keeping it in orderly condition.
• Provideaccurateproduction reporting and scrap counts at the end of the shift.
• Communicate withpreviousshift to receive important job information.
• Communicate with Team Leaders and supervisors when there are issues.
• Complete other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or G.E.D. certificate required.
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive work in afast-pacedwork environment, which includes long periodsof standing.
• Must be able to perform basic math skills.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes on a regular basis.
• Able to work in a team environment.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift: Monday–Friday, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM.
• Schedule may vary based on production needs.
• Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.
