Primary Duties- Utilize resistance and spot-welding machinery to complete tasks
- Arrange and secure metal parts to ensure precise welding
- Adhere to production blueprints, specifications, and work orders
- Modify welding machine configurations to ensure optimal performance
- Examine finished welds to confirm they meet quality and alignment standards
- Detect and rectify welding imperfections to improve final product integrity
- Utilize various hand tools and standard measurement devices
- Ensure production targets are met consistently
- Help maintain a safe working environment by following all PPE and safety protocols
- Ensure the workspace remains tidy and orderly
- Complete additional manufacturing tasks as requested
- Prior experience in manufacturing or spot welding is highly desirable
- Background in metal fabrication, assembly, or welding equipment operation is beneficial
- Capacity to interpret and execute written work instructions
- Fundamental mechanical skills
- Strong focus on precision and detail
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to thrive in a high-speed manufacturing setting
- Reliable work history and a strong commitment to the job
- Ability to remain standing for long shifts while performing repetitive tasks
- Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs.
Required proficiencies include:
- GD&T
- Troubleshooting Skills
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
- Tape Measure Reading
- Welding Setups for Production
- Blueprint Reading

- MIG Welder (Hobart, ESAB)
