The Foundation Operations Coordinator performs the operational, financial, and scholarship functions that power the Foundation’s work. This role manages the Foundation’s scholarship program, including direct support to students applying for scholarships, maintains accurate scholarship records, and ensures equitable and efficient program administration. The Foundation Operations Coordinator manages essential financial processes, ensures the integrity of donor and scholarship data, and supports fundraising initiatives.

As part of the Foundation team within the President’s Office, the Foundation Operations Coordinator provides backup executive administrative support to the Office of the President, ensuring operational continuity and a professional office environment. This role reports to the Executive Director of Advancement.

Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, increasing levels of responsibility in program support, and experience in fundraising, student services, donor relations, or related fields.

Qualifications Required Education/

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree and relevant experience.
  • Experience in roles requiring organization, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working with databases, software systems, or administrative tools used to track information and processes
Preferred Education/Experience/

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, nonprofit management, public administration, education or related field.
  • Experience working in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or mission-driven environments.
  • Proficiency with donor databases or CRM systems (e.g., Blackbaud, Etapestry and Academic Works, Salesforce).
  • Experience managing financial processes such as deposits, reconciliations, and reporting.

  • Coordinate and support the full lifecycle of the Foundation’s scholarship and student impact grant programs
  • Serve as a helpful and knowledgeable resource for students, faculty, and staff throughout the scholarship application process
  • Support fair and accessible scholarship application and selection procedures that align with donor intent and institutional priorities
  • Maintain accurate records related to scholarship funds, applications, awards, and recipients
