Volunteer Host & Engagement Coordinator

Fairytale Farm Rescue & Sanctuary began in 2021 and has grown into a community of people and animals working together to make the world a little kinder. Our farm is home to rescued rabbits, goats, sheep, and other small animals, many with disabilities, medical needs, or special care routines.

Volunteers help us provide daily care, maintain safe and clean living spaces, support rescue efforts, assist with adoption outreach, and create a welcoming place where animals and people can thrive.

Fairytale Farm Rescue & Sanctuary is seeking friendly, organized volunteers to help create a welcoming and positive experience for our volunteer team. Volunteer Hosts serve as ambassadors for the farm, helping new and returning volunteers feel comfortable, informed, and connected. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people and helping others succeed.

• Welcome volunteers as they arrive
• Assist with volunteer check-in
• Distribute task cards and assignments
• Help answer basic questions
• Connect volunteers with project leaders
• Encourage and support volunteers throughout their shifts
• Help create a positive, engaging volunteer experience

• Friendly and outgoing
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable interacting with groups of people
• Enjoys helping others
• Experience in customer service, education, event planning, HR, or volunteer management is a plus

Flexible scheduling available. We are especially seeking volunteers who can commit to helping during monthly volunteer days, weekend projects, or recurring events.
